Resp Kerapu Kuah Asam

If you think that this kind of Manado food is only an ordinary fish soup, maybe you are the first person who should try this recipe. Why? Because after you try it, you will feel so tasty, fresh, having big natural appetite, and healthy. As a matter of fact, Manado food usually contains many cooking spices; so that many people love Manado food. I also do think this recipe is good enough for those who are sick because it contains many vitamins (from tomatoes, lime, and fish). Not only that, for those, who are amateur in cooking, this recipe is so simple for you. (psst…don’t forget to eat it with dabu-dabu if you are a chili lover like me). So, what are you waiting for? Just try and taste it.

Resep Kerapu Kuah Asam:

Bahan:
*400 gr ikan kerapu
*1/2 sdt garam
*2 sdm air jeruk nipis/lemon cui, untuk melumuri ikan
*1000 ml air
*10 lembar daun jeruk
*1 lembar daun kunyit
*2 batang serai, memarkan
*10 butir bawang merah, iris tipis
*4-5 buah cabai rawit
*2 batang daun bawang, iris 2 cm
*2 buah tomat, belah-belah
*1 ½ sdt garam
*20-30 lembar daun kemangi
*2 sdm air jeruk nipis/lemon cui

Cara membuat:
1. Siangi ikan, potong masing-masing menjadi 2-3 bagian. Lumuri dengan garam dan air jeruk, sisihkan selama 30 menit atau lebih
2. Jerang panci berisi air di atas api sedang, masukkan daun jeruk, daun kunyit, dan serai. Didihkan, kemudian kecilkan apinya, masukkan bawang merah dan cabai rawit. Tutup panci, didihkan di atas api kecil selama 10 menit.
3. Buka tutup panci, didihkan kembali di atas api besar. Masukkan ikan, daun bawang, tomat, dan garam; masak selama 5 menit.
4. Masukkan daun kemangi dan air jeruk, masak sebentar sampai daun kemangi layu, angkat, hidangkan segera.
